Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellation, refund, and change requests are handled for bookings made through S.A.R. Your Travel Guide.

Before Booking

Please review the tour, hotel, room, date, price, included services, excluded services, and payment conditions before completing your booking. Some services are provided by third-party suppliers such as hotels, transport providers, activity operators, payment providers, and airlines.

Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@sar-your-travel-guide.ch. The refundable amount depends on the booking type, supplier conditions, time remaining before travel, and any non-refundable costs already committed for the booking.

Flights, special offers, fixed-date packages, third-party hotel rates, activity reservations, and payment processing fees may be partially or fully non-refundable once confirmed.

Changes to a Booking

We will try to support reasonable change requests, but changes are subject to availability, supplier approval, and any additional price difference or administrative cost.

Cancellation by S.A.R. Your Travel Guide or a Supplier

If a confirmed service cannot be delivered, we will offer a suitable alternative where possible. If no suitable alternative is available, the refundable amount will be handled according to the confirmed booking conditions and applicable law.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or third-party supplier involved.

No-Show

If a customer does not arrive for a booked service without prior written cancellation, the booking may be treated as a no-show and may be non-refundable.
